We've sailed (cruised as we don't have a sail!) from Oundle to Ely and back. It's been great, the weather was kind to us, and the sun shone, apart from Friday 13th, all week long. In fact, let's take a look at our on-board thermometer...
Yes indeed, you see it correctly! We had two little sunburnt noses that day I can tell you! Me from reading sat upon deck and Himself from cleaning the decks and fenders - bless him, he likes to clean... can't sit still a minute, so it keeps him from mischief!
Ely, when we arrived was lovely...
The Middle Level however, was teacherous in parts, I'll attend to all the photos now and write you a post about all our thrills and spills, and broken engines, and waiting for the tides....
